Carlow County Council, VISUAL and Carlow Tourism are delighted to extend an invitation to all to attend a special Carlow Culinary Christmas Food & Drink Festival from 7th-9th December.

Carlow Culinary Christmas Food & Drink Festival 2017 at VISUAL is a 3-day showcase of all things food and drink in County Carlow.
Featuring nightly food stalls, giveaways and Food Demonstrations from Neven Maguire, Kevin Dundon and Catherine Fulvio with each visitor getting a free bag of recipes and some free County Carlow products to use over the festive season.
County Carlow has a vibrant Food & Drinks industry and this event, hosted by Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office in partnership with VISUAL has been designed to celebrate what Carlow has to offer. Supporters of the festival include Carlow Farmers Market and Kenny McGuire Demos.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8pm. Book early and avoid disappointment, last year the event sold out 3 weeks before the date!

Kevin Dundon is the Chef/Proprietor of Dunbrody Country House Hotel and Restaurant, located in Ireland’s sunny south east. Dunbrody was established in 1997 by Kevin and his wife Catherine. It is now considered to be one of Ireland’s
premier hotels and restaurant. Kevin oversees a cookery school at the hotel which is already recognised as one of the most respected in the country.

Over the past few years Kevin has steadily built his media profile and has appeared on numerous TV channels including ESPN Cable, CBC (Live) Canada, UTV Great Food Live, BBC1s Saturday Kitchen, RTE (Live) the Today Show, TV3, UTV as both chef and panellist. He is also a regular on Irish radio. His nine part prime time cookery show – Modern Irish Food with Kevin Dundon aired on both RTE 1 Ireland and PBS in the US and was nominated for three American Taste TV Awards, the highest awards for the Lifestyle Entertainment Industry in the US.

Kevin has published 5 books, “Full on Irish”, “Great Family Food”, “Recipes that Work” and more recently “Modern Irish Food” and “ Raglan Road Cookbook”. His new book “Back to Basics with Kevin Dundon” was recently launched to coincide
with his TV series of the same name which has been aired in Ireland, the US and Australasia. Kevin is a great supporter of food festivals and conferences, whose message is to spread the word of good quality food and food production. A recent
new venture is Arthurstown Brewing, of which Kevin is a director and shareholder. The emphasis here is on quality rather than quantity, and Kevin believes that fine food and craft beer pairing is becoming a hugely popular trend in the food
