Entries from across the country will go head-to-head in this prestigious national song contest, to find Ireland’s entry for the Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2014. The composer of the winning song will receive a cash prize of €1,000 sponsored by IMRO.
Music and lyrics must be newly composed with all entries ‘as Gaeilge’ and genres from traditional to pop and country to rock will feature. Musical Director will be Ollie Hennessy. A panel of judges will choose the song to go forward to represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2014 which will be held in Derry in April, where it will be up against national entries from the other participating celtic nations of Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Cornwall and The isle of Man.
