Aspiro: Aspiro

In 2009, the Performing Artists in Residence Scheme will see the senior members of Aspiro engage with internationally acclaimed choreographer John Scott, Artistic Director of Irish Modern Dance Theatre to explore the relationship between voice and body. In addition to his choreographic practice, John is a well-known tenor and opera singer and has studied and performed with US dance and contemporary arts luminary Meridith Monk working under her unique interdisciplinary approach and ground-breaking \"extended vocal technique\" as well as studying with New York\'s Pablo Vela.
