Celebrating 10 years at VISUAL, Useful Structures gathers some of the physical structures and supports that have been created at VISUAL for artists, art and public engagement.
The studio gallery has been transformed into a reflective space and resource room. A modular library containing archive material from VISUAL’s decade long history becomes a developing reference library. The space will also include works by artist is residence Clare Breen, Take A Part Carlow Community Group, borrowed work from The Carlow Art Collection and much more.
Over the course of October and November the space will be used for public meetings, collaborative activities and gatherings that will imagine a further 10 years at VISUAL.
